April 17, 2001 - Digital Harmony, Inc. successfully integrates CMOSexod's SDRAM-Controller into their design.

"Digital Harmony Technologies needed to port our Media Stream Processor to a
bigger, more cost effective FPGA, and the Xilinx Spartan II fit the bill.
This change also presented an opportunity to design out the costly SRAM
required by the Atmel ARM processor. An SDRAM controller would then be
needed, and interfacing between the ARM HIF bus and the SDRAM bus required a
piece of IP which Digital Harmony didn't have. We asked Xilinx for help,
and Xilinx found the solution in Jeung Joon Lee's "Synthesizable
Synchronous-DRAM Controller Core". A bit of customization later, and we had
twice the RAM at one-fifth the cost. Joon's design is compact, efficient,
and easy to adapt to different microprocessors. I can recommend it with no
qualms!"
